About this Event
All welcome to join us for a chance to hone your skills in our 4 week block of Life-Drawing classes. All abilities welcome from complete beginners to more seasoned artists, this is a relaxed and welcoming class, tutoring provided if needed although we encourage the process, not the outcome.
(please arrive a little early so you have time to get comfortable)
We'll focus on a variety of techniques that will differ week to week in the second half.
The first half will always be the same as this is our warm up for everyone to use these smaller poses to get into flow in their own way :-D!
What is provided:
*Drawing boards
*Easels
*Basic drawing materials (A variety of papers, pencils & charcoal)
*Chairs
*Tea, Coffees and light snacks will be provided during the break.
We encourage you bring an easel if you have one as there's a limited amount and whatever materials you feel comfortable with.
What to expect:
First half
*14:00 - 14:45*
A warm up with a series of four 5 minute poses,
Going into a 10 minute pose then a 15 minute pose.
Break
*14:45 - 15:15*
An opportunity to come together to share drawings (no pressure) we encourage you use this time in whatever way you feel is best.
Second half
*15:15 - 16:00*
We'll then go into a 10 minute pose,
Followed by a 15 pose then a 20 minute pose.
