Life and Mortality: Medicalized Death: What is it, Why is it – Avoid it or

Not all that long ago most people died at home not in hospitals even though most people say they want to died at home. This shift to dying while receiving medical interventions in a hospital has come to be known as ‘medicalized death’. You are invited to come and explore this topic, learn what dying in the hospital (especially in Intensive Care Units) might involve and ask your questions. The goal in this session is for you to gain some idea of “I want everything done” may include so you can make more informed decisions.
