2:00 PM - 2:15 PM: Welcome & Introduction
- Opening remarks, introductions, and an overview of the day’s sessions, set the tone for an afternoon focused on well-being, self-care, and connection.
2:15 PM - 2:45 PM: Strength, Flexibility, and Balance: Why Yoga Matters After 40, Archana Amlapure (Yoga and Wellness coach| Author| Founder of Ojas Yoga and Wellness)
- As we enter our 40s, our physical, mental, and emotional needs shift. This 30-minute session will explore how yoga supports flexibility, strength, and balance while reducing stress and boosting mental clarity. Join us for a brief talk followed by a session with simple yoga techniques for those over 40. Discover how to stay energized and mindful in this new phase of life.
2:45 PM - 3:15 PM: Mobility & Resistance Band Workout, Yoges Mohan, Fitness, mobility and active ageing coach, Founder of ActivFit
- A 30-minute mobility workout using resistance bands to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. This session is tailored for women over 40 and designed to enhance functional movement in daily life.
3:15 PM - 3:45 PM: Gut Health & Menopause, Elena Dogot-Ivnkv, Health Psychologist and Functional Medicine Practitioner
- A 30-minute session led by Elena, an expert in functional medicine, focusing on the importance of gut health during menopause. She will share insights on how gut health can impact hormones, mood, and overall well-being during this life stage.
3:45 PM - 4:15 PM: African Dance for Stress Relief
- A high-energy 30-minute African dance session that blends cardio and rhythm to help release stress and uplift your spirit. This fun and engaging session will boost your mood and energize your body.
4:15 PM - 4:30 PM: Break & Refreshments
- A 15-minute break to relax and enjoy light, healthy refreshments. This is also a great time to mingle with other participants.
4:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Tarot Card Reading for Self-Reflection, Pash Chopra, Tarot card reader and Spiritual healer
- A 30-minute Tarot card reading session will help participants reflect on their journeys and gain insights for the future. This session will encourage self-reflection and provide a sense of guidance and clarity.
5:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Panel Discussion - Embracing Change: Mind, Body & Menopause
- A 30-minute discussion featuring health experts sharing practical tips on managing menopause, mental clarity, and emotional balance. This session will help participants understand the physical and emotional transitions and how to embrace them.
5:30 PM - 5:45 PM: Guided Meditation & Closing Reflections
- A calming 15-minute meditation to ground participants and provide a peaceful end to the retreat. This session will promote relaxation and mindfulness, leaving you centred and recharged.
5:45 PM - 6:00 PM: Final Remarks & Sponsor Acknowledgement
- Closing remarks, including a heartfelt thank you to participants and sponsors, with special acknowledgement of the support and contributions from our sponsors.
