On Aug. 9-10, Licorería Limantour, the seventh-best bar in the world, will be taking over Julia & Henry's as part of the prestigious World's Best Series presented by Delta Air Lines, in partnership with Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto and Yotel.
Licorería Limantour revolutionized the Mexico City bar scene when it opened in 2011, and has been featured on The World’s 50 Best Bar list since 2014. Led by Benjamin Padrón and José Luis Leon, this legendary Roma Norte establishment continues to pioneer bartender knowledge-sharing culture worldwide. José’s guest shifts at international bars and his dedication to fostering industry relationships have been crucial to the bar’s growth. These connections have been instrumental not only to its success but also in promoting Mexican cocktails on global platforms.
The takeover at Julia & Henry's will showcase Licorería Limantour's curated selection of creative cocktails, each one a testament to fresh, local ingredients, innovative techniques and the diverse flavors that define Mexico City. Guests can expect to sample the following creations:
- Fluffy Paloma: tequila, watermelon cordial, grapefruit
- Oregano: mezcal, Ancho Reyes Verde, black tea, lime juice, pineapple juice, simple syrup, dried oregano
- Nudo e Famoso: Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, mezcal, limoncello infused with ginger, grapefruit juice, lemon juice
- Guava: gin, guava soda, St. Germain, fig and pink peppercorn cordial
To guarantee a spot, guests are encouraged to make a reservation via Eventbrite; however, walk-ins are also welcome.
