License Plate Bash event alert! SMPA is raffling pickleball state sport license plate PB00001 on Nov 15!
On Saturday, November 15 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, join SMPA at Side Out Tsunami in Seattle for the License Plate Bash Tournament and Open Play fundraiser. This festive occasion celebrates the public release of the state sport pickleball license plate. Whether competing in the tournament, chilling on an open play court, or just spectating, anyone can enter the $10 per ticket raffle to win exciting prizes (multiple tickets per person allowed). Raffle prizes include:
• Pickleball state sport license plate PB00001
• Westside Pickleball league spots at Side Out Tsunami
• Free coaching sessions with local pros
• Pickleball paddles
• Lake Washington Luxe Cruise Adventure
And more!
Additional activities include:
• Three open play courts available for casual games ($20 per person)
• Play with a pro / play with PPA’s Ella Cosma, Cosmo or Seattle Tsunami’s Eric Le
• Drinks and snacks provided
• Pickleball license plate keychains and state sport hats available for purchase
Tournament entry is $100 per person. Five games guaranteed. Scores will not be reported to DUPR. Free Washington State Sport Pickleball hat with registration. The winner of the license plate receives the right to the plate, which can be gifted to another person, subject to Department of Licensing (DOL) reporting requirements. The registrant must pay all applicable DOL fees and taxes.
Participants must be present to enter the raffle. No cash, card only.
Proceeds from DOL state sport license plate sales will be used for the construction and maintenance of public dedicated pickleball courts across Washington State. Proceeds from the fundraiser and online auction and will cover operating expenses and accelerate the revenue stream from license plate sales to benefit pickleball.
For those who can't attend the event, watch for the SMPA statewide online auction of 24 early number plates from #00002 to #00025 in mid-November.
