In this workshop, you will learn to unlock the power of LibraryThing and transform your book collection from shelves of mystery into a beautifully organised, searchable, and shareable digital library. In this practical, hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to catalogue books, archives, research materials, and rare collections using LibraryThing — the trusted global tool for historians, researchers, heritage organisations, and passionate book lovers.
Kevin has a Dip. Family History (UTAS) and an abiding interest in History and the Law. He has given numerous presentations on the Parramatta Female Factory, Convicts and the Law, Transportation and Punishment. Kevin has previously presented workshops on digital genealogical research from Ancestry 101 to advanced family history researchers. He is currently a PhD candidate at Western Sydney University. Kevin has numerous roles on the PFFF Committee including Vice President, Technical Officer and Tour Coordinator.
