Library Studio Presents: Learn to Knit: The Knit Stitch for Beginners https://bit.ly/3JNoD2EThis relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop is designed for those who have never knit before or want a gentle reintroduction to the craft. We'll focus on building confidence through the basic knit stitch—the foundation for many future projects.
To keep things approachable, participants will receive a pre-started piece (a few stitches cast on and rows knit), allowing them to dive right into learning the knit stitch. We'll also cover how to bind off their work so it doesn’t unravel. Along the way, participants will gain tips for how to hold their yarn and needles comfortably and how to troubleshoot common beginner mistakes.
By the end of the session, everyone will have a small knitted swatch to take home and the confidence to keep practicing on their own!
All materials will be provided (yarn, needles, etc). The cost per participant is 10$ to cover material costs for the evening - cash will be collected at the door.
When: Tuesday, September 30 | 5:30 - 7:30pm
Where: Friends Program Room.
Registration is required as space is limited. Reserve your spot today! https://bit.ly/3JNoD2E
