Join the WLA Wisconsin Association of Academic Librarians (WAAL) unit and other academic librarians around the state for our library showcase event on Friday, March 14, 2025. This is an opportunity to network with colleagues in person and learn about the great work our academic libraries are doing. This event will be hosted by the Beloit College library staff.
Librarians Tristan Draper and Mary Schiavone will discuss how library staff managed the transition from a library construction zone to a functional space for working, studying, and spending time with others. They will highlight several key areas of work: creating a welcoming and appealing space for students, ensuring the functionality of the library through signage and space planning, and the continued efforts to elevate the space.
The day will start in the LITS Classroom (203) at Beloit College.
