Join the Eastgate Library, UTC, and Barnard Astronomical Society at UTC’s Clarence T. Jones Observatory for a night of learning! Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the Observatory’s historical telescope, enjoy hands-on activities, and view a planetarium show!PLEASE BE ADVISED: Due to the popularity of this event and limited seating within the planetarium, we ask that you please be aware of the schedule:
7:00 PM Showing
6:45 pm: Doors open
6:55 pm: Walk-ups admitted based on unclaimed RSVP seats
7:00 pm: Telescope viewing and Library activities
7:30 pm: 30-minute Planetarium show
8:00 PM Showing

We will continue admitting all RSVP’ed guests and walk-ups (space permitting) prior to the start of the planetarium show, but once the show starts, the doors will be closed to any latecomers.
The Observatory is located at 10 N Tuxedo Avenue, just off Brainerd Road. However, easier access to the observatory is to park behind the Brainerd United Methodist Church and walk up the hill by the cemetery.
