🦉 Get ready! We've got a brand new setting for this Library Day 📚💧 Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library and Wesselman Woods are teaming up to provide a West Side Library Day at Howell Wetlands on Saturday, August 16 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
We'll celebrate the wonder of literature with the beauty of the great outdoors AND we're inviting additional community partners to join in the celebration!

📅 SCHEDULE
Throughout Event (10 AM to 2 PM): Crafts with EVPL, additional activities with our community partners, and Vanderburgh County residents can sign up for a library card with the EVPL Outreach Team
📗 10 AM = Storytime with EVPL or Guided Hike
🦉 10:30 AM = Animal Encounter
📘 11 AM = Storytime with EVPL or Guided Hike
🍽️ 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM = Lunch Break [ A good time for checking out the trails! ]
🐍 12:45 PM = Animal Encounter
🥾 1 PM = Guided Hike
📕 1:15 PM = Storytime with EVPL
FAQs
📌 When will there be activities? Activities will take place from 10 AM TO 2 PM. See the schedule in the event description.
📌 Do we have to have a library card for this event? Nope! Admission at Howell Wetlands is always free but, if you are interested in a library card, Vanderburgh County residents can sign up for one for free with EVPL!
📌 Animal Encounters and Storytime sessions will take place at the Outdoor Classroom. Guided hikes will gather near the stage.
