Event Info:

What's eating your tomatoes? Why are there holes in your lettuce leaves? Discover what's going on in your garden with expert gardener Kat Lavers.

You'll learn about common pests and diseases, as well as some of the creatures that prey on them. Learn simple steps you can take to protect your crops and learn a natural, sustainable and cost-effective approach to pest and disease management in the home garden.

Light refreshments will be avalible 30 minutes before workshop begins.



About the guest speaker

Kat Lavers is the gardener and designer behind The Plummery, a 1/14th acre urban permaculture system in Melbourne's north that produces almost all the vegetable, herbs, fruit and eggs consumed by the household! She has realised that with good design, growing lots of food is possible even with limited time, space and resources.
