The Liberty Wrecks are 3 HTMS vessels sunk by the Royal Thai Navy during a target practice exercise, reportedly during the 70's and 80's.These wrecks are seldom-dived, often requiring a specific expedition charter boat, so not much is known about their state or the diving conditions - This is precisely why I'm unreasonably excited to dive them. We do know the wrecks are broken and lie somewhere between 20-30m deep (well within reach for recreational divers!).
HTMS Pattani is a Trad Class torpedo boat built March 26, 1936.
HTMS Phali is a PC-461 Class Submarine Chaser transferred to Thailand in 1952
HTMS Nhongsarhai is (probably) a Bangrachan class Minelayer which was in service from 1938–1980
