Liberty Green Tree Care: Volunteer Event with the SCA
Join The Student Conservation Association in helping to care for the trees at Liberty Green in East Liberty. We will be weeding and mulching the trees around the park so that they can thrive for years to come.
- No experience is needed! Gloves, tools, and light refreshments will be provided. Please arrive on time to hear the safety briefing.
- If you require special accomodations to participate, please let our team know in advance.
- Parking: Street parking is available at Libterty Green
About the SCA: The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is the largest provider of hands-on environmental conservation programs for youth and young adults. Program participants protect and restore national parks, marine sanctuaries, cultural landmarks and community green spaces across the country. The SCA is devoted to building equitable access to nature, providing green job opportunities for young people and teaching members how to become environmental stewards. Founded in 1957, the SCA is committed to building the next generation of conservation leaders dedicated to the lifelong protection of the environment and the communities we serve.
