About this Event
9 May 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of Guernsey’s Liberation. As part of the celebrations we will be creating a food and drink village with seating for 1,200+ people on North Beach. Alongside the village will be our local artisan and craft stalls, a dedicated area for Guernsey charities and a music stage with live entertainment throughout the day.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Stallholders are responsible for providing all of their own equipment, gazebos, tables etc.
All stallholders must hold their own public liability insurance. It is a requirement of attendance at Liberation Day that you have a copy of your PL insurance certificate with you for inspection if requested.
If you have any food on your stall you must be registered with the Office of Environmental Health and Pollution Regulations and comply with their guidelines, including the provision of adequate hand washing facilities. Please be advised that spot checks may be carried out at the event.
Power can be provided. Requirements - including the equipment to be used and its wattage - must be confirmed at the time of booking and your pitch will be positioned based on your power requirements.
POWER
There will be a small charge for power, which will be charged on consumption. Your power requirements must be confirmed at the time of booking with the details of each piece of equipment and its wattage. Your pitch will be positioned to ensure the required power can be supplied to you.
When you book your pitch and you select your pitch size, please scroll down to Add-Ons and select the level of power you require. We will confirm this with the team who supply and distribute the power on site based on the equipment and wattage you have listed.
If you bring additional equipment on the day we will not guarantee that we will be able to accommodate it.
SET UP AT EVENT
Please be advised that we plan to set up all the stalls and food and drink pitches on Thursday 8 May. Details will be confirmed closer to Liberation Day.
