Come be immersed in a transmission downloaded through Andrea Ivory during a profound transformational experience in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle, which has divinely unfolded into a musical journey that literally energetically encapsulates the shift in consciousness that occurred – from a state of suffering to one of Liberation – not only within herself but within the collective as well.
The activations encoded within the song created during and as a result of this powerful experience awaken remembrance within others to realize and catalyze their own Liberation, which has already occurred and just needs to be claimed.
Completely original music, sounds and vocals were channeled to hold the frequency of highly transformative power, rippling out into the collective to invoke the same shift in consciousness – a return to Liberation.

LIBERATE is an inner journey of an experience which starts off semi-guided first, as slower and meditative with some breath, then eases into some subtle pulsation of movement that grows and naturally evolves into the free release of whatever expression wants to come through as the music builds into a powerful crescendo of metamorphic vibrations, tapping into the inherent ancient rhythm and wisdom within every body to move itself however it wants and needs to be moved for healing and transformation and ultimate Liberation.

The Space —
Being Collective is a space dedicated to Community, Connection, and WellBEing.
The energy is warm, inviting, welcoming, peaceful, generating, healing, and elevating.
Opening circle, gentle guided movement, dancing, and closing circle happen in the Gathering Hall — there is a corner of the hall committed to stillness and meditation
Mindful socializing happens in the Commons Area and cozy stairwells
The Commons has a small kitchen area (water will be available), coat/shoes room, and restrooms
WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE —
In the simplest terms, ecstatic dance is a free-form dance experience created to inspire personal authenticity and foster a healthy sense of belonging, while holding space for personal and community transformation. The music is intentionally crafted for the experience, and may include original, live, and curated sounds.
This is the dance you dance when nobody is watching — allowing your body to move freely without judgments or concerns for the “grace” or beauty of the dance, just letting yourself go — connect and flow.
Ecstatic dance is a self-led inner/outer journey, an authentic moving meditation where presence and ecstasy can be experienced. It creates a direct body-mind-spirit connection, allowing our body and inner guide to be our own teachers.
It’s about being fully present, transparent, and real with oneself and others, discovering our own true dance.
We can use this movement and energetic experience to release stuck patterns in our bodies, emotions, and mind — while encouraging deep inner-connection for embodied, authentic living.

At Being Collective, our intention is to create and hold space for gatherings and experiences that build community, foster connection and a felt-sense of belonging.
It is our intention that Ecstatic Dance Journeys at Being Collective hold space to experience a sacred free-form dance floor where all BEings are free to be their authentic, empowered selves within a community of like-hearted souls being the same.

At our dances, you will find bodies express, spirit connects, boundaries melt, boredom dissolves, creativity births, playfulness delights, hope emerges, prayers are heard, beauty flows, communities collaborate, ritual is reinvented, and unity resonates as the beat deepens within a musical tapestry of world rhythms, weaving us together as a world that moves in harmony.

Ecstatic dance is a self-care practice, and it can be a spiritual practice.
It fosters a safe space to explore healing through divine communion, individually and within community (without the chatter of the mind while talking and drinking, common in the nightclub or party scene).
At ecstatic dance we have no one to impress, our attention is focused within ourselves, not on others, so we can be utterly ourselves — getting down, letting loose, allowing emotions to flow, dreams and prayers to dance themselves, freeing our minds and bodies while connecting with ourselves and others, and spirit, in a safe and healthy way.
Ecstatic dance empowers people of all shapes, ages, sizes and backgrounds to freely express themselves; the liberating atmosphere creates a melting pot of acceptance and the fearlessness with which others move gives permission and courage to dance without inhibition. Everyone is welcomed.
