Please join the Liberal Austin Democrats in-person for our September meeting on Wednesday, September 7th at 6:30PM. We will be hosting candidates for Austin City Council, AISD & ACC Trustee to speak. All filed progressive candidates for these positions are invited to attend. An endorsement ballot will be emailed to all current LAD members following the meeting to determine our endorsements. LAD endorsements require 60%.Our meeting will be at the Texas AFL-CIO, 1106 Lavaca St, Austin, in the large first floor meeting room. We will buying pizza for everyone and supplying sodas/water. We wish we could have margaritas, but the other location was too small to safely accommodate all members and guests. Please arrive by 6PM for social time and to get your pizza, because we will start at 6:30PM sharp.
Our friend Chris Mosser will also be broadcasting the meeting on FB LIVE for those that want to watch from home, so check out our page that evening for a livestream.
LAD Members, please be sure to renew your membership for 2022 to vote in the upcoming candidate endorsements. Membership dues are $25 – cash/check or online via Act Blue.
