LIBBY KOCH
Texas Americana singer-songwriter Libby Koch (pronounced "coke") is a “country meets soulful” (Free Press Houston), “feisty Texas songbird” (Country Music People) who “sings her story with a little twang…and a lot of heart” (Texas Monthly). Combining her country soul with a seventh-generation Texas troubadour’s storytelling skill, Koch fills her songs with intimacy and honesty. Like the most timeless country classics, they’re the kind that make you feel good about feelin’ bad. Libby has released six albums – Redemption (2009), Shadow of This Town (2011), The Grievous Angels (2013) a self-titled band side project, Tennessee Colony (2014), Just Move On (2016), and Redemption 10: Live at Blue Rock (2019), a live album commemorating the tenth anniversary of her debut, produced by bandmate Patterson Barrett (Buddy Miller, Nanci Griffith). THE BAR
Opened in November 2020, Cowboy Surfer is a casual bar in Memorial City, Houston keeping its namesake culture alive through drinks, eats, live music and art.
