A great double bill for fans of original east coast music - with both bands drawing influences from rock and roll, folk-rock, and roots-rock. Liam Corcoran released his fourth solo album, Hints and Traces, in the summer of 2023. Hints and Traces was awarded with Music PEI Award for Best Rock Recording. Prior to this, Liam has released Giving Tree and Other Songs (2021), Nevahland (2017), and Rom-Drom (2015). Liam is also the co-founder and singer in the well-known indie-pop group Two Hours Traffic.
Emerging from the ashes of traditional music, Newbridge is a powerful blend of Americana, folk, and roots-rock from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band features Canadian music veterans Keith Maddison (Maddison Avenue), Glen Nicholson (In-Flight Safety), Jeff Mosher (The Mellotones, Matt Andersen), Warren Robert (Myles Goodwyn, Pogey), and Robbie Crowell (Sturgill Simpson, Deer Tick, Midland, Matt Mays), each with a wealth of experience and a drive to forge their own sound.
Doors open at 6:30 for food service and music starts at 8pm!
