🌶️🫘🔥 It’s BATTLE OF THE BEANS time! 🔥🫘🌶️Please join us on January 31, 2025 for Lazy Hiker’s 7th Annual Battle of the Beans Chili Cook-Off! The competition will be steep as local residents battle it out to be crowned CHILI CHAMP of the year! 🏆
This year’s Chili Cook-Off will be sponsored by Nantahala Bank & Trust to bring you some serious prizes! 💰💰💰

How it works:
- Teams must consist of local, Franklin residents. (Extended to Otto, etc. There will be a separate competition for Sylva & surrounding areas.)
- Competition is limited to 15 teams.
- MUST cook your chili with a Lazy Hiker brew currently on tap!
- No repeat beers between teams (first come, first serve)!
- The DEADLINE to sign up is January 27!
- FREE to enter!
- Judging will be from both a panel of judges and public votes.
- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners! Prizes for all places.
- 1st place winners will also receive a trophy to proudly display for conquering the competition!
- FREE chili tastings will be from 6-8pm on January 31, 2025!
- Winners announced the same evening.
