Description: Join us in person at Lehigh Gap Nature Center for a Speaker Series presentation from Frank Pazzaglia, a geologist and geomorphologist who is a professor at Lehigh University. Have you ever wondered how the Lehigh Water Gap came to be? Was it carved by the Lehigh River, or did the Lehigh River form because the gap was already present? This presentation will discuss the geologic foundation of wind and water gaps in Pennsylvania and in the process, explore some big-picture ideas, many of which were spawned in Pennsylvania, of how landscapes change over deep time. PLEASE NOTE: This year's speaker series is 6:00pm-7:00pm.Registration: Please register through Zeffy at this link: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/speaker-series-wind-and-water-gaps-of-pennsylvania
