Well, hello Saturday night! 🥳It’s been a hot minute but we’re excited to finally be able to host a Saturday night social party before PAX kicks off in October!
This month's event is a special "social" edition, focused on LGBTQIA+ networking and meeting fellow gaymers, and new friends!
🎒What do I need to bring?
You don’t need to bring anything, just yourself or bring a crew!
This is not a ticketed event.
🎲 What games will be there?
We’ll have some Nintendo Switches (including Mario Kart, Super Smash, Boomerang Fu, & more), Jackbox on the big screen, and a board game library.
We'll still have some tables (though less than normal) if you'd still like to play a board game.
🍽️ Grab dinner and a drink
Food and drink will be available at the bar. There will be a few specials, so keep an eye on socials. You cannot bring your own food or drink into the venue.

🏳️⚧️ Absolutely everbody is welcome
We have a zero tolerance for anti-social or non-inclusive behaviour. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, please let an admin know.
📍 Where is it?
Fortress is central to the Melbourne CBD. We'll be in The Arena (upstairs from the Tavern). It’s best to enter from the Fortress “mech” store on the lower ground level of the Emporium.
The closest train station is Melbourne Central. There are many trams nearby. Check out https://maps.app.goo.gl/UuoXiQ1u3327ANrw8 for detailed directions.
‣ Accessibility Notes: The venue is wheelchair accessible via lifts.
Noise wise, this event will be a little louder than normal as it’s a social event. There are some tables up the stairs if you’d like a quieter area.
