About this Event
LGBTQ+ Youth QuAC Back!
Join us for a night of conversation and community across generations of LGBTQ+ activists. Celebrate histories of queer and trans resistance and learn ways to get involved with BAGLY’s new Queer Activist College (QuAC).
Special guests include:
- Massachusetts Representative and Trans Emergency Fund Executive Director Samantha Montaño
- Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth
- MassEquality
- The History Project
- BAGLY Speakers Bureau
Together We Will:
- Share our voices as we QuAC back to the inauguration and other threats to our communities
- Hear from youth and adult LGBTQ+ community leaders about the lessons we can learn the past, the challenges facing us today, and what we can do to make a difference
- Build intergenerational community
- Learn about upcoming Queer Activist College (QuAC) events for LGBTQ+ youth ages 25 and under, including workshops, trainings, roundtables, and more! Build your advocacy skills, meet other young advocates, and earn certificates and stipends
While walk ups will be welcome, we encourage all who are interested to pre-register. This intergenerational event is open to LGBTQ+ youth and their supporters; dinner and dessert will be served!
