About this Event
We will be meeting in Leeds City Center in front of the AGE UK Bradbury Building, Mark Ln, Leeds, Ls28JA at 10:45, the minibus will be collecting us and leaving at 11.
We encourage you to pack a lunch, when we arrive in Hebden Bridge we will sit in the park for a picnic and Lilian will then take those who are interested for a walk around the green area.
Lilian will then give you the opportunity to go off on your own, and explore Hebden Bridge, an area often referred to as the ‘lesbian capital of the UK’. Take some time to explore the local shops, markets, and beautiful scenery.
We will meet at an agreed location at 3:15 PM, for the minibus to promptly take us back to Leeds.
This day trip has been organized to celebrate International lesbian week, which was Sunday the 30th of April. For this day trip, we are welcoming people who identify as lesbian or as being part of a lesbian relationship. Leeds LGBTQ+ Community Consortium is proudly a trans-inclusive organization.
