About this Event
Join us in our Crafting Corner!
Whether you're working on your own project or eager to try something new, this is a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ crafters to connect, chat, and create together.
Our LGBTQ+ Crafty Corner offers a relaxed environment where you can enjoy a variety of crafts, from collaging, crochet, and knitting to scrapbooking or any other creative activity you’re keen on.
The session will be hosted by Aoife (she/her), a neurodivergent creative from Leeds. Aoife loves guineapigs, folk music and crochetting, to see the kind of work she gets up too head over to her instagram.
Where & When:
The session takes place at Pride Place in Leeds city centre, starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM (Noon). Full accessibility details for the space can be found here.
FAQ's:
Can I come to this session if I’ve not been before?
Yes! Feel free to let the session facilitator know if you haven’t come along to one of our sessions in the past and they’ll be sure to make you feel welcome in the group!
Can I come to sessions if I’m not a member of the LGBTQ+ Community?
LLCC is proud to offer our sessions for free. This is because we receive funding to host sessions and events specifically for people who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ Community. Allies of the LGBTQ+ Community are encouraged to promote our sessions to LGBTQ+ friends, service users and colleagues.
