Our LGBTQIA+ Book Club is a blend of queer folk and allies from the local community who come together on one of the first Tuesdays each month. We discuss a chosen title while providing a safe space to foster community. We strive to choose quality reads with positive and/or realistic queer representation; though we do recognize that such criteria is subjective to individual taste and experience. In February we will be discussing SISTER OUTSIDER: essays and speeches by Audre Lorde.
If you are participating in our reading challenge, this title works for February (Black author) March (a feminist writing) June (LGBTQ) and July (nonfiction)
Paperback copies will be available for purchase.
