Lez Night Out: Community Picnic

This picnic is for members of our covid conscious lesbian community to have an opportunity to mingle and socialize. The majority of our events have been heavily activity-driven so far (trivia, buttonmaking, etc), so we would love to create a more chill environment where people actually have a chance to talk and strike up conversation! We will have crafts and games (croquet, frisbee card games, bracelet making, sketching supplies, etc)! We will also be passing out flyers and info for our upcoming events so everyone can stay in the loop. :)

Picnics often include a food and drink sharing element to them, but since we are aiming to be as covid-conscious as a picnic possibly can be, we will unfortunately not be providing any communal foods/snacks/drinks for the picnic attendees. We encourage you to bring your own lunches, and if you’re really in a crunch for time (coming directly from work, insanely long commute, etc), you can add on an option for a pre-packed lunch when RSVPing. Lottie will be preparing individually packaged lunches for $8 each, complete with sesame noodles (vegan), cucumber salad (vegan, gluten free), two spring rolls (vegan), fruit, and a cookie. If you have any questions about ingredient contents/allergens, please feel free to DM us!

We will be bringing 10+ blankets to create as large of an area as possible for people to disperse themselves, and encourage attendees to bring their own blankets as well to help us space out, especially when eating. Though we will be outside with more ventilation, masks will still be required (and provided!) for anyone who is not actively eating/drinking. The entrance to this part of the park is flat and has zero stairs!

We would love if everyone was able to test beforehand, but know this is not financially feasible for all of our guests. We will have a very limited amount of free Covid tests that can be taken before you join the picnic, away from the group! But if you have access to get your own test done, we would very much appreciate that. Lottie will be placing an order for Covid rapid tests before the picnic, so if you would like them to buy one for you feel free to DM us for the Venmo information!
