Lexington Manors 8th Annual block party will be held Saturday, September 27th beginning at 2pm. There will be tasty food and great live music from local Southern Illinois artists Cody Galloway from 2-5pm and Isaiah Cunningham beginning at 5:30pm. Everyone is welcome, feel free to invite your friends and family and do not forget to bring your favorite beverage, lawn chairs, and checkbook or cold hard cash! Russ Harp will be on the grill serving up complimentary tasty hamburgers and hotdogs. As with all years past, this is a fundraising event with all proceeds raised going towards a nonprofit organization. This year we have chosen Harrisburgs own Friends of Saline County Animals. This is a non-profit organization created to help save abandoned and neglected animals in Saline County, Illinois. We will have raffle, 50/50, and silent auction with gifts donated by local business. Adoptable animals may be present for anyone interested in taking home a new fur baby.
