About this Event

Grant Writing for Non-Profits


Program:
This program is designed to equip non-profit professionals with essential grant writing skills to secure funding for their organizations.


Speaker: Mary Louise Resch, President/CEO, Athena Grants Consulting, LLC
Mary Louise Resch is a US Army veteran who has served over 35 years in the non-profit sector as an Executive Director, Development Director, Grant Writer, and Lobbyist. She has worked with such diverse populations as homelessness, food insecurity, dropout prevention, and juvenile justice. She is a Senior Certified Grants Specialist (SCGS) and has raised hundreds of millions of dollars over her non-profit career. She has also worked as a non-profit advocate as part of the efforts to provide SC food banks with annual state funding and passing the SC Raffle Bill. She has also worked at the national level as an Oxfam Sister on the Planet Ambassador, working on Capitol Hill on international hunger issues.

Program and Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

Registration is $15.00 per person and includes the program and breakfast. Please register by NOON on Friday, November 15, 2024.
