HEADLINING ARTIST: Joslyn & The Sweet Compression
Joslyn & The Sweet Compression deliver a dynamic blend of funk and soul. Joslyn Hampton, after refining her voice in backup roles and stage plays, teamed up with her stepfather, Marty Charters—a seasoned guitarist who’s shared the stage with legends like Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, and Van Morrison. Together, they created a captivating sound, backed by a talented band: Carter Scofield (guitar), Tyler Papierniak (bass), Rashawn Fleming (drums), Jacob O’Donnell (saxophone), and Will Doty (keyboard). Their 2019 self-titled debut album captures their hook-filled style, and with a growing fanbase, they’re set to bring their high-energy performance to fans nationwide.
