About this Event
The (ISC)2 Thames Valley Chapter welcomes all members and non-members to attend its next event on Thursday, April 25th 2024 starting at 7:30pm GMT, after socialising time with pizza and drinks from 7pm.
Our event will start with the speech from the guest speaker Sean Wright who will present on the topic of Leveraging Docker for security: how you can use Docker within an application security function (especially Application Security or DevSecOps).

Speaker Bio: Sean Wright is Head of Application Security at Featurespace, a software-based organisation that provides a Machine Learning solution used by financial organisations to help prevent financial fraud.
Sean is passionate is helping organisations, and individuals, become more secure. Sean initial started his career as a developer working for several organisations before landing at his role at Secureworks, a leading Managed Security Services Provider. After initially joining the organisation as a developer, Sean moved into an application security role. A role which he held for many years before moving to Immersive Labs, a leading online security training platform, where Sean owned and helped to build the application security training provided by the organisation. During his tenure he managed to successfully drive the product to compete with many well-known vendors. Missing the hands-on side of application security, Sean joined Featurespace to help develop and drive the organisation’s application security program.
Outside of his work, Sean is also an active contributor to the wider security community, giving numerous security-based talks across the UK. Sean also has been quoted in several media articles over the years, including the like of Forbes and The Register.

If you have an (ISC)² valid membership you can receive the relevant CPE tokens if you have attended the whole session. You will be asked for your (ISC)2 membership number during registration. If you are unable to attend, please make sure to cancel your ticket 2 business days before the event, so that we can reallocate your ticket to another member of the community.
