About this Event
Course Overview and Goals
This interactive 3-hour workshop explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence in education, going beyond just using AI tools to understanding their ethical, practical, and technical implications. Educators will engage in discussions on the controversies surrounding AI in the classroom, compare different AI models (ChatGPT, LLaMA, DeepSeek), and examine ethical considerations in AI-assisted teaching.
Through hands-on activities, participants will explore AI-driven lesson planning, assessment tools, and personalized learning applications. The workshop also addresses how to effectively manage student participation in an AI-powered learning environment, ensuring responsible AI use while fostering critical thinking and engagement. By the end, educators will leave with practical insights, strategies, and an AI usage policy tailored for their classrooms.
