About this Event
Join SAIT’s Women in Skilled Trades (WIST) Retention Program, in partnership with Women in Trades & Technology (WITT), for an empowering evening dedicated to supporting and connecting women in skilled trades.
This dynamic event will feature a panel of trailblazing women who will share their experiences navigating apprenticeship pathways, overcoming imposter syndrome, and achieving financial success in the trades. Our panelists include:
- Charlie Drake (Carpenter, SAIT Alumni)
- Tanya Evans (SAIT Electrical Instructor)
- Kaylaa Poos (HSE Coordinator & Cabinet Maker, Bird Construction)
- Moderated by Heather Setka (SAIT Academic Chair, Electrical Trades Energy)
Following the panel discussion, attendees are invited to participate in a vibrant networking session with industry and community partners, explore resource booths, and build meaningful connections to support their career journeys.
