About this Event
For those who already have a basic understanding of survey methodology (via Survey - Basics or their own work experience) this course provides a deeper understanding of questionnaire design, issues of scales and metrics, and more complex structured experimentation to improve the instruments and data provided. This is a one-day program which includes:
- Discussion of scaling and the determination of optimal scales
- Testing of question wording and question order in an established survey
- Assessment of individual responses and handling “bad” data
This material has driven substantial changes to both customer and employee engagement surveys. Participants have seen results such as a 35% increase in completion/response, and have eliminated issues such as straight-lining and acquiescence bias, resulting in vast improvements in the quality of the resulting data.
