About this Event
In this seven week course, students will learn to create scenes using object work, agreement, and specific dialogue to create a grounded base reality for their scenes. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of long form scene work with a focus on solid two person scenes. This class includes a student showcase. The prerequisite for this class is Level One at Stomping Ground or equivalent experience with permission from the Training Center Director.
This course will focus on:
- Creating a Base Reality (Who, What, Where)
- Object Work & Creating an Environment
- Strategies for Initiating Meaningful Scenes
- Jumping & Justifying & the why of the scene
- Showcase Form – The Armando: Creating Scenes inspired by a Truth Based Monologue
This is a 7 week recurring in-person course held Tuesdays from 7-9:30PM starting Tuesday, October 25th. The instructor is Andrew Wermelskirchen. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future class. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older.
