Level 1 Minimal Sedation PERMIT RENEWAL Course (Friday) September 24, 2021
This course is scheduled to be produced live and online via "Zoom". Instructions for logging on will be coming soon. The basic requirement is that you have internet access and a computer or device with a camera ie ipad, iphone. We are pleased to bring this program to you so you may enjoy this course in the comfort of your own home.
Course Summary: This program satisfies Rule 110 by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners requiring that all practitioners, in order to keep their Enteral Sedation permit current, document successful completion of a continuing education course every two years.
Course Presenter:
Dr. Andrew Read-Fuller is Clinical Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. He received his certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2017, after receiving his MD degree in 2014 from the UT Southwestern Medical School and graduating Magna Cum Laude from the UCLA School of Dentistry in the concurrent DDS/MS program. Dr. Read-Fuller has held numerous national and international leadership positions in oral and maxillofacial surgery including serving on the OMS Foundation Board of Directors, the American Association of OMS Committee on Continuing Education and Professional Development, and the North American Representative to the NexGen Committee of the International Association of OMS. Additionally, as a resident Dr. Read-Fuller was President of the Resident Organization of the American Association of OMS (ROAAOMS). Dr. Read-Fuller is interested in the broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular interest in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, temporomandibular joint disease, pathological lesions of the face and jaws, peripheral nerve repair, and facial trauma.

Prerequisites: Prior completion of the Initial Permit Two Day course is mandatory. This program is a renewal and review for those already licensed with the Texas Dental Board for Level I anesthesia.

* This course is limited to 60 participants and is designated for CDE credits and is not promotional. The intended audience is for dentists and specialists. Postgraduate residents may also attend to obtain their initial permit license.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION: Tuition is refundable if a course is canceled by the Office of CE. A $50 fee will be assessed for any course cancellation. All payments by check or cash are deposited into the Texas A&M account and CANNOT be refunded. “No Shows” for a course forfeit all tuition. Confirm notification of cancellation by e-mail. The CE Office cannot be held responsible for a non-refundable airline ticket.
