Level 1 Minimal Sedation INITIAL PERMIT Course, September 29-30, 2023- In person or Online program

The basic requirement is that you have internet access and a computer or device with a camera ie i-pad, i-phone. Course Summary: This course will provide the necessary training to satisfy the requirements to obtain a Level 1 Minimal Enteral Conscious Sedation permit in the State of Texas. Designed to provide an excellent training and review of pre-treatment evaluation and management of office emergencies, this program will benefit all healthcare providers.
Course Presenter:
Dr. Andrew Read-Fuller is Clinical Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. He received his certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2017, after receiving his MD degree in 2014 from the UT Southwestern Medical School and graduating Magna Cum Laude from the UCLA School of Dentistry in the concurrent DDS/MS program. Dr. Read-Fuller has held numerous national and international leadership positions in oral and maxillofacial surgery including serving on the OMS Foundation Board of Directors, the American Association of OMS Committee on Continuing Education and Professional Development, and the North American Representative to the NexGen Committee of the International Association of OMS. Additionally, as a resident Dr. Read-Fuller was President of the Resident Organization of the American Association of OMS (ROAAOMS). Dr. Read-Fuller is interested in the broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular interest in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, temporomandibular joint disease, pathological lesions of the face and jaws, peripheral nerve repair, and facial trauma.

* This course is limited to 50 participants. This course is intended for dentists and specialist who need to full fill their CE hours for licensure. Postgraduate residents may also attend to obtain their initial permit for level 1 enteral sedation.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION: Tuition is refundable if a course is canceled by the Office of CE. A $50 fee will be assessed for any course cancellation. All payments by check or cash are deposited into the Texas A&M account and CANNOT be refunded. “No Shows” for a course forfeit all tuition. Confirm notification of cancellation by e-mail. The CE Office cannot be held responsible for a non-refundable airline ticket.
