About this Event
Building on the foundations and skills learned in Levels 1, 2, and 3, Level 4 introduces students to the advanced form of longform improvisation. This course will be taught by our Director of Curriculum, Katie Drown, cast member of TBD: The Improvised Musical, Ladies who Lounge, and ROT!
The course meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00pm-9:00pm for a total of six class sessions. Classes will take place in either our Hashtag Comedy Club (1253 N. High Street) or an alternative location. You will be informed at least two weeks prior to the class of the final location.
Students will perform in an improv showcase after the classes are completed. The showcase for this course will take place May 13th from 8:00pm-9:00pm in our Hashtag Comedy Club (1253 N. High Street).
In addition to classes and a showcase, students will also receive a complimentary ticket to a Hashtag Comedy show.
Students must have completed Level 3 in our curriculum. If you are an experienced improviser who has not taken our courses contact our Director of Curriculum, for permission to enroll.
IMPORTANT INFO
- Please enroll at least a week before the class begins. Courses that do not meet the instructor-set course minimum by the week before the start date may be at risk of cancellation. Please email our Director of Curriculum if you intend to enroll but cannot until the days before the course begins.
- If the course is cancelled, tuition will be refunded.
- Students must attend at least 4 of the 6 classes in order to perform in the showcase and graduate from this level.
- PARKING: Students may park in the back of the Hashtag Theater space when spots are available. Free parking validation for said lot is available inside the theater, but students are responsible for validating their own parking.
