About this Event
This course is designed for childminders, carers, nursery and primary school workers.
This course meets the criteria set out by Ofsted for the Early Years Foundation Stage standards.
Every delegate will be entitled to a FREE 2 hour training session every year for the duration of their valid certificate!
This is a 2 day course:
Day 1 5th November 9:30am - 4:30pm
Day 2 12th November 9:30am - 4:30pm

The course will be run over two days with short breaks for refreshments.
100% Attendance is needed for certification.
I f you only attend Day 1 you will be awarded the Emergency Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

* Planning and dealing with emergencies
* Child and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* Child and infant choking procedures
* Secondary assessment & Recovery position
* Treatment for bleeding and shock.
* Treatment for broken bones and head, neck and back injuries
* Treatment for burns and scalds and electric shock
* Poisoning, bites and stings
* Eye injuries, and foreign bodies in eyes, ears and nose
* Effects of heat and cold and febrile convulsions
* Allergies and anaphylactic shock
* Asthma, seizures and diabetes
* Childhood illnesses
