Practical - 2 days training
Here we will go through a number of the main activities that you will need to lead your own forest school. We will go out into the Woodland directly behind our centre and demonstrate skills around erecting shelters, tying knots, learning about your woodland environment. Within the Centre we will complete tool training and learn how to make campfires and about fire safety. We will aslo give some examples of some of the wide variety of activities that you can do as part of Forest School.
Throughout these practical sessions you will be given the chance to both observe and have a go and will receive 121 support to gain the skills you need.
At the end of the practical 2 days you will be assessed in order to successfuly complete the first part of your course.
