The one day Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is based on the HSE training standard for delivery of Emergency First Aid at Work for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, and is recognised and accepted by the HSE.The aim of the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF), or EFAW, is to enable learners to attain the knowledge and competencies needed to deal with the more common (and serious) emergency first aid situations. Learns should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt and effective emergency first aid in situations with an understanding of the role of the first aider.
You should take this qualification if you are required to complete a Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) regulations 1981. This may mean that you have assessed your working environment and decided that you need one (or more) Emergency First Aid at Work qualified persons on site.
This course is also suitable for those who wish to complete a one day first aid course, but not necessarily for work purposes. This offers the flexibility of providing first aid training, but with the option of for-filing the role of Emergency First Aid at Work should the need arise in the future.
Course is running in Pye Green, Cannock, Staffordshire from 09:30 to 17:00
