This nationally recognised qualification is designed for prehospital care providers responsible for safely administering and monitoring lifesaving medication. The course covers legislation, protocols, common types of medication and their side effects, drug administration routes, and how to assess, monitor and review patients before and after treatment. On completion, candidates will have the knowledge, skills and confidence to administer lifesaving medication safely in a prehospital environment. Delivered by an experienced paramedic with a wealth of frontline knowledge, this course gives you the confidence to make a real lifesaving difference.
Entry requirement: FREC4 or equivalent.
