FOR Cardiff is pleased to offer this fully funded training course to employees of FOR Cardiff member businesses and would like to invite expressions of interest.
Due to the limited number of spaces available, each business is limited to two free spaces per course. Each space is worth £75.42.

This course will be delivered in-person by Cardiff and Vale College at their campus on Dumballs Road, Cardiff, Cardiff CF10 5FE. Cardiff and Vale College have implemented strict covid-19 measures to make their in-person training safe for delegates. This course teaches employees how to take responsibility for personal hygiene, food safety procedures and to receive, store and prepare food safely.
This course covers:
Legislation
Kitchen design and layout
Food poisoning
Safe food storage
Temperature control
Hygiene and cleaning
Refrigeration and chilling of foods
Cooking, hot holding and re-heating of foods
Assessment is via a multiple choice examination paper.
Delegates will receive a qualification in HABC Emergency First Aid at Work on successful completion of this course.
