About this Event
This full-day training provides frontline staff with a comprehensive understanding of domestic abuse, its risks, and the professional response required to safeguard victims. The session combines enhanced awareness of abuse, trauma, and complex needs with advanced skills in risk assessment and multi-agency safeguarding.
Participants will explore different types of abuse, the cycle of abuse, the impact on victims—including children and families—and the wider family and community context.
