Begin your improv journey with this six-week, two-hours-per-week course built around Bay Cities Story Company’s signature storytelling style: IMPROVactive. In this beginner-friendly course, you’ll learn the foundations of agreement, listening, and emotional connection. We’ll show you how to create scenes that feel like real conversations, not just comedy skits — all while building confidence, presence, and ensemble trust. No experience needed. Just bring a willingness to play. Perfect for: Anyone curious about improv, storytelling, or trying something new. This class meets once per week for six weeks. (Due to Mardi Gras, class will not meet on Feb. 9th and 16th.)Each session is 2 hours long. A minimum of 6 students is required to run the class. Class size is capped at 12 students to ensure personal attention, coaching, and space to grow.
