Level 1 - Basic ObedienceThis six-week progressive course employs "Positive Reward" techniques, integrating high-value treats with verbal praise to facilitate the learning of new behaviors.
The curriculum encompasses:
Name Recognition
Sit in Front of you & Sit by your side
Down
Up & Off
Stay/Wait (with release cue)
Introduction to loose leash walking/heel
Door Boundaries
Place
Recall
Leave It
Chaos Walk
Upon successful completion of Level 1, participants will be eligible to advance to Life Skills Development Course.
Please Note: Fees are non-refundable after the first class.
Vaccination Requirements:
DHPP (as recommended by your veterinarian)
Rabies (for dogs over 12 weeks of age)
Bordetella
Negative fecal
All newly adopted puppies/dogs must be in the owner's possession for a minimum of 10 days prior to attending class.
