📣 Leuven maakt zich op voor een historisch moment: de Leuven Pride op 10 oktober 2024!
🔍 𝗪𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗻?
Een pride optocht, op zijn Leuvens! Geen grote praalwagens, maar een mars die teruggrijpt naar de roots van pride. Bakfietsen zijn wel toegestaan… Hierna huldigen we het nieuwe monument in met een straatfeest en daarna zakken we af naar de Optimist. In de Veilingzaal van de Optimist zal tevens een drag show en dansfeest plaatsvinden!

19:00 uur: Verzamelen voor de optocht richting het Smoldersplein bij Leuven station.
19:45 uur: Aankomst op het Smoldersplein.
20:00 uur: Speeches en de inhuldiging van het nieuwe LGBTQ+ monument.
20:30 uur: Tijd om te genieten van eten, drinken en dansen op het Smoldersplein.
22:00 uur: De feestelijkheden verplaatsen naar De Optimist.
22:30 uur: Start van de dragshow in de Veilingzaal van De Optimist.
04:00 uur: einde feest in de Optimist

ℹ️ Hoewel Leuven eerder al evenementen zoals de L-Pride in 2018 en de opening van het Queer Arts Festival Leuven in 2023 kende, bundelen UniQue en Queer Leuven nu hun krachten om deze editie te realiseren.

📣 Leuven is gearing up for a historic moment: the Leuven Pride on Oct. 10, 2024!
🔍 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁?
A pride parade, Leuven style! No big floats, but a march that goes back to the roots of pride. Bicycles are allowed... After this we will inaugurate the new monument with a street party and then we will descend to the Optimist. The Optimist's Auction Room will also host a drag show and dance party!

07.00 PM: Gather for the parade towards the Smoldersplein near Leuven station.
07.45 PM: Arrival at the Smolders Square.
08.00 PM: Speeches and inauguration of the new LGBTQ+ monument.
08.30 PM: Time to enjoy food, drinks and dancing on Smolders Square.
10.00 PM: The festivities move to The Optimist.
10.30 PM: Start of the drag show in De Optimist's Auction Room.
04.00 AM: End of afterparty
