Learn to Skate Beginner class & Mentoring Skate Session followed by a Skate & Scooter JAM with loads of prizes up for grabs!
All equipment supplied. Workshops are for ages 6 years and up.
SCHEDULE 10:00 am: Event Opening 10:00 am - 10:15 am: Beginner class registration 10:15 am - 11:15 am: Beginner skate class (1hr class. Suitable for newcomer and beginner skaters with little to no experience on a board and at a skatepark.) 11:15 am - 11:20 am: Skate Demo 11:20 am - 11:35 am: Mentoring Session registration for Intermediate Skaters. 11:35 am - 12:20 am: * Mentoring Session for Intermediate Skaters *45min class. Suitable for skaters who know the foundational skills and want to start exploring tricks and advance to the next level. 12:20 am - 12:30 am: JAM Registration - (5 years and o ver ) 12:30 am - 12:40 am: Skate & Scooter JAM grouping 12:40 am - 1:00 pm: Open - Scooter (5 years and o ver ) 1:00 pm- 1:10 pm: U14s - Skate Grouping 1:10 pm - 1:25 pm: U14s Jam - Skate 1:25 pm-1:35 pm : Group Opens - Skate Grouping 1:35 pm - 1:50 pm: Opens Jam - Skate 1:50 pm - 2:00 p m: Community Interaction / Close program hand out Stickers

WAIVER FORM - Participants must complete our online waiver form here before they can skate. Please try to have this done before you get to the skatepark.
THE WAIVER FORM IS NOT A TICKET.
Spots are limited, and bookings are essential via our Eventbrite page .
* This is an outdoor event. Postponement and cancellation is subject to weather conditions and can happen anywhere from 48 hours to 2 hours before a workshop. We cannot skate in the rain or on wet grounds.
Equipment: Professional grade Skateboard, helmet, and safety pads (optional) are provided for all classes. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.
