About this Event
What better way to celebrate Pride and grow a little community spirit than to plant a rainbow of colours in your neighbourhood or garden?
Join us at London’s LGBTQ+ Centre Pride event, during Eden’s Month of Community, to celebrate our rich and diverse communities, plant some edibles, have fun and get to know each other.
In this workshop you will:
· choose and plant seeds and seedlings to take home with you
· help create a colourful planter for the Centre
· hear a bit about Eden Project Communities and how you can get involved in local projects
About the organiser:
Lucy is the Eden Project Communities, Community Network Developer for London and the South East.
Having spent the past 27 years in Australia, working most recently for LGBTIQ+ Health Australia, Lucy is delighted to combine her passions for the environment and community work in this new role.
Eden Project Communities is the outreach team of The Eden Project. We connect people and communities, and encourage everyday people to make positive change where they live.
