About this Event
Rosie Lloyd-Giblett is an environmental artist who creates her works outside. Her exhibition is inspired by time spent at Eagleby wetlands observing bird, flora, and fauna of the region. These are translated into expressive drawings, collages, and artists’ books. Construct a concertina book inspired by local landscape and its inhabitants. This activity will connect to the birds and trees from within the Logan Region and Southeast QLD. The workshop will include developing basic sculptural techniques of concertina folding, fringing and "wild" tearing to create free-standing artworks.
