Somatic Collective Art Experience Embark on a journey of self-discovery and collective creativity with the transformative art of ‘Letting Go.’ This unique approach involves us being guided through somatic movements to create a piece of art, on shared card, only to pass it on, relinquishing our control and attachment to the outcome. It’s a dance of trust and surprise, as the artwork evolves, touched by many hands, growing into a collective masterpiece. Pause for a moment. Listen. In the silence, ask yourself: What are you feeling? Why are you here? Who are you underneath the layers of everything else? Are there things you’re holding onto? Waiting to be released? We invite you to dive into the liberating experience of ‘Letting Go.’ Under the guidance of the inspiring Yellow and Green, this workshop is more than an art class; it’s a passage to inner peace. Yellow and Green will lead you through an exploration of your emotions, helping to peel back the layers of your experience. Yellow and Green, a trauma-informed spoken word poet and artist, harnesses her art to process complex childhood traumas. Her journey of reclaiming power is a beacon of hope, showing us how creativity can be a path to understanding ourselves and connecting with the world. In this workshop, you’ll find that we are all unique, yet profoundly interconnected. Let’s create, share, and let go together, building something beautiful in the process.
This session is designed for adults and would usually cost around £25. We simply ask that you contribute honestly through our “pay what you can” scheme.
